Chris Hutcheson grew up in Australia, where his mother, known for her green thumb, taught him how to nurture plants. This early exposure to gardening and tropical fruits laid the foundation for a lifetime passion for agriculture. Over the years, this passion evolved into a deep expertise in cultivating some of the most delectable exotic fruits.

With its ideal climate and coastal breezes, he continued perfecting his craft and introduced a variety of tropical fruits, including passionfruit and guavas, to the region. Chris shared (and continues to share) his expertise and passion for tropical farming with his two sons, ensuring the knowledge and love for cultivating fruit continues for generations to come.

Today, his Mendocino Coast farm specializes in passionfruit and guavas, with a special emphasis on pineapple guavas and blueberry guavas. Each year, the farm continues to grow and upscale, producing an abundance of fresh, organic tropical fruit ready to be shipped directly to your home.
